Creating Employment Opportunities and Promoting Sustainable Development
BARATA’s efforts have resulted in the establishment of several bamboo and rattan-based enterprises in Tanzania, creating employment opportunities and providing income for local communities while also promoting sustainable development. Additionally, BARATA’s initiatives have helped to reduce deforestation in Tanzania by providing alternative sources of wood for fuel and construction.
